Meet Dr. Barillas

Dr. Gino Barillas joined Southern Maine Family Dental in September 2023. He is a 2022 graduate of dental medicine from close-by University of New England in Biddeford & Portland, ME. He obtained his Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University in cellular and molecular biology.

After practicing in Forest Hill, Maryland for a year, Dr. Gino decided it was Maine that he wanted to call home. He is a member of the York County Dental Society in addition to the American Dental Association and Maine Dental Association. He is also a Delta Dental Insurance PPO provider.

Dr. Barillas enjoys all aspects of general family dentistry. He looks forward to meeting new and existing patients in the office over the coming months and years. He has completed advanced training in Invisalign, so if you are thinking about clear aligners, be sure to schedule a consultation with him.

When not in the office, Dr. Gino – a self-proclaimed foodie – enjoys visiting the many incredible restaurants in the area. Feel free to share any suggestions with him at your next visit! He lives in Kennebunk with his fiancé, Daniella and rescue dog, Lili.
